Global games publisher 505 Games famed for Control, Death Stranding, Terraria and Ghostrunner has appointed Havas Entertainment as its global media planning and buying agency of record.
Havas Media Group’s entertainment and culture agency now sees its relationship with 505 Games extend to US, APAC and Europe, having handled the UK business since 2020. In consolidating its global planning and buying billings with one agency, Havas Entertainment now handles 505 Games’ most lucrative and high priority markets and sees billings increase 12-fold.
The expanded remit tasks Havas Entertainment with playing a leading strategic role in helping 505 Games carve out greater market share in its key global markets for its most important games. Havas Entertainment’s winning strategy will focus on creating meaningful moments in culture taking into consideration the specific needs of audiences in multiple markets.
505 Games, a subsidiary of the entertainment company Digital Bros and one of the largest games publishers in the world, publishes and distributes retail and digital premium and free-to-play games on leading consoles for Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, PC (Steam, Epic and GoG) and handheld platforms including mobile devices and social networks.
